The NITRIC JKT is a 2-layer jacket designed for skiing and snowboarding on slopes, featuring a simple design and reliable characteristics. Equipped with Dryplay 10K technology and a PFC-free Teflon EcoeliteTM water-repellent coating, it ensures both waterproofness and breathability, keeping you comfortable and dry during your mountain adventures. The functional features are numerous, including an ergonomic hood with a unique adjustment system, hand pockets, and a chest pocket, all with zippers under flaps for better water resistance. It also has underarm ventilation zips and an adjustable hem with a drawstring. The integrated snow skirt, ski pass pocket, and inner mesh pocket complete the model.

Waterproofness refers to a fabrics ability to prevent water from passing through it. It is measured in water column (in millimeters): the higher the value, the more the material can withstand pressure from moisture, snow, or rain. A waterproof fabric ensures that water stays on the surface without penetrating the membrane, providing reliable protection in wet conditions.

• Breathability: 10,000 g/m2/24h

Breathability refers to a fabrics ability to allow moisture vapor (such as sweat) to escape from the inside to the outside. It is usually measured in grams per square meter over 24 hours (g/m2/24h): the higher the value, the more efficiently the material evacuates moisture. A breathable fabric helps regulate body temperature and keeps you dry and comfortable during physical activity.

• Dryplay: 10K/10K

This polyurethane (pu) blend laminate membrane is waterproof, windproof, and breathable. Extremely durable, it keeps the user dry in all weather conditions. Laboratory and field tested.

• Teflon ecoelite

PFC-Free durable water repellent treatment using renewably sourced Teflon EcoElite TM Technology. Zero pollution, zero allergies, zero impact on future generations. Guaranteed 90% efficiency after 10 washes.

• Thermal Dry System

Made with recycled polyester (PE), Thermal Dry is a knit fabric used as a lining to keep you warm and dry when active. It features a unique body mapping construction, placed where the body sweats the most, that wicks moisture away.

• Recovery Lining

Technical linings made with discarded scraps, cuttings, and other untreated fabrics (that meet Pictures quality standards) from factories. An eco-friendly alternative to burning this waste

• Critically taped seams

Strategically sealed seams protect the areas most exposed to moisture, ensuring excellent protection where you need it most.
